1.Impact Resistance
The impact resistance of UHMW-PE is the best of all kinds the engineer plastic which is 3 times than Nylon, 2 times than Polycarbonate and 5 times than ABS. Compare with other plastic, it could endure the impact in a long time, even keep its toughness in -196ºC. In addition, UHMW-PE itself also has good wear and corrosion resistance. The weight of UHMW-PE is lighter than water, even less than 1/8 of steel. It cost less than steel with the same quality. It has a very good economy because it is easy to maintain and easy-processable such as milling, drilling, digging and sawing etc.
