OMK - S is a heavy - duty, two - piece combined piston seal ring, mainly designed for the piston sealing system of heavy - duty hydraulic cylinders, especially suitable for large - diameter pistons subjected to pressure on both sides. It is a typical product of Merkel Omegat series and is widely used in harsh industrial application scenarios.

Basic Structure and Materials

It consists of two key components, which work together to ensure excellent sealing performance:

Pre - loading Element	Rectangular rubber ring made of NBR (Nitrile - Butadiene Rubber) or FKM (Fluoroelastomer)	Supplies stable pre - loading force to maintain sufficient contact pressure between the sliding ring and the sealing surface, compensates for wear, and ensures long - term sealing effectiveness
